LimX Oli is a professional platform for the development of embodied AI, robotic systems and autonomous functions. It supports Python, low-level and high-level APIs, Isaac Sim, Gazebo and rapid prototyping. It allows you to create walking algorithms, gestures, sensory responses or complex autonomous tasks. Oli is safe in the home and laboratory - its sensors, two 3D cameras and internal IMU allow it to track space and its own movement. Control is easy even for beginners, whether via a computer, interface or ready-made programs.
LimX Oli is designed for beginners and professionals. It is suitable for experimentation, programming, studying robotics, developing autonomous capabilities and testing algorithms. Thanks to its open platform and compatibility with simulation systems, it is valuable for researchers, startups, universities and companies, but at the same time intuitive for ordinary users and creative projects. It will appeal to everyone - from children to deep-tech experts.
One of the key features of LimX Oli is its mechanical flexibility. It offers 31 DOF, expandable to 43, allowing it to perform movements very close to the human body. Each DOF represents a joint - the more it has, the more natural it moves. This makes Oli precise and fluid when walking, bending, squatting, lifting objects or turning its head. The hands have 7 DOF for precise gestures and manipulation. The legs contain 6 DOF, which ensures stable bipedal walking and overcoming obstacles. The torso has 3 DOF for natural tilting and improved balance. The neck with 2 DOF allows for realistic orientation of the head and sensors.
The high-frequency control loop at 2000 Hz provides instant balancing - the robot reacts faster than human reflexes and stabilizes the body even when pushed suddenly or when the terrain changes. This makes it one of the most stable humanoids up to 60 kg, suitable for both home and professional research.

LimX Oli uses a combination of cutting-edge sensors that give it an above-average spatial awareness. Its head and torso have two Intel RealSense D435i 3D cameras, which provide high-precision depth imaging, spatial mapping, object tracking, and excellent motion sensing. Together with its own IMU unit, the robot creates a comprehensive image of its surroundings and its own body. LimX Oli also supports optional LiDAR for professional industrial applications and autonomous navigation systems. Its multi-sensor fusion capability allows AI to combine data from cameras, IMUs, and other sensors into a single, accurate model of the world, resulting in extremely intelligent and safe behavior.

LimX Oli is not just a robot, but a humanoid capable of working with information, understanding context and reacting intelligently. It uses onboard large language models (LLM) that enable natural voice interaction, understanding commands and so-called embodied reasoning - reasoning connected to the physical capabilities of the body. It can therefore understand the task, assess the situation and plan the necessary steps. It operates in a hybrid architecture of local computing and the cloud, which ensures speed, stability and continuous improvement. Thanks to OTA updates, it is constantly learning new movements, balancing optimizations and new interaction protocols.
LimX Oli’s AI also uses reinforcement learning and imitation learning, which allows it to take a human example (e.g., a gesture or movement from a video) and transform it into its own behavioral algorithm. This ability is valuable in the development of autonomous robotic systems, embodied AI, and when creating new features via SDKs. LimX Oli is one of the few humanoids that combines advanced AI reasoning, motion planning, sensory integration, and physical manipulation in a single platform.

The humanoid needs powerful hardware to process data from sensors, cameras, IMUs, and AI modules. LimX Oli uses the RK3588 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which handles real-time body control, image processing, and basic AI logic. Higher configurations include NVIDIA Orin NX, a specialized AI processor enabling advanced visual interpretation, robust AI models, trajectory planning, and complex autonomous behavior. The version with Orin gives it performance comparable to much more expensive professional systems.
The robot offers modern connectivity: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth BLE 5.4 and Ethernet, which ensures stable communication with the cloud, remote control, streaming of sensor data and integration into industrial or research systems. OTA updates allow for continuous expansion of functions without interfering with the hardware. One of the pillars of LimX Oli is modular design. It allows you to customize components according to the project or research. The hands support quick replacement of end effectors - from a simple two-finger gripper to a highly dexterous five-finger humanoid hand. Expandable DOFs allow you to transform the basic configuration into an even more accurate professional humanoid.
LimX Oli is equipped with a powerful battery with a lifespan of 1,5 to 2 hours of active operation, depending on the intensity of the tasks. In addition, the battery is removable, so you can quickly replace it with a spare one without interrupting work - this will be especially appreciated by developers, laboratories and companies. Safety is another key element of the robot. Its motion system is controlled by a 2000 Hz high-frequency loop, which allows it to immediately correct its balance and prevent falling. LimX Oli can resist sudden deflection, recover after being pushed and maintain stable walking even on more difficult surfaces. The robot has built-in collision detection and emergency stop functions, ensuring safe handling near people, children or animals. It is designed to be suitable for both home and laboratory environments, where reliability and safety are absolutely key.

Although LimX Oli uses professional technology, it remains surprisingly accessible to ordinary users. In the home, it acts as an intelligent partner that you can naturally control, teach new movements and monitor its reactions. Thanks to 31 DOF, realistic proportions, a pair of Intel RealSense D435i 3D cameras and an internal IMU, it can perceive space, track your position, safely move between obstacles and react to changes in the environment. Control is intuitive even for complete beginners – via a computer, application, voice commands or ready-made programs.
LimX Oli can be a mechanical companion, a training partner, an interactive project, and a fun robot for the whole family. It offers beginners and children an accessible introduction to robotics, and technology enthusiasts a platform for experiments, motion animations, and AI projects. LimX Oli is also a powerful tool for universities and research institutions. Open SDK, access to sensor data, Python + C++ API, and compatibility with Isaac Sim and Gazebo provide a complete background for teaching and professional research. Institutions using Oli gain a modern platform with high durability, security protocols, and stable hardware suitable for intensive laboratory deployment.
